The two biggest cost drivers are (1) how much custom carpentry you commission — a full-wall wardrobe costs 3x a standard swing-door — and (2) material grade. Laminate vs veneer vs solid timber can double the same piece.
Are these figures inclusive of GST?
All bands above are quoted before 9% GST. Your formal MRETTY quotation always states GST as a separate line for full transparency.
Can I get a fixed-price quote?
Yes. After the on-site measurement and design confirmation, MRETTY issues a fixed lump-sum contract. Variation orders occur only when you request scope changes, and each is signed off before work proceeds.
How do MRETTY prices compare to typical Singapore ID firms?
Our Standard tier is competitive with mid-market Singapore ID firms. Our Premium and Bespoke tiers are typically 15-30% lower than comparable design-firm pricing for equivalent materials, because we own the factory that produces the carpentry.
What is the payment schedule?
Standard Singapore ID schedule: 10% booking, 40% on hacking commencement, 40% on carpentry delivery, 10% on handover.
