Shophouse & Heritage Home Restoration

Bespoke cabinetry and millwork for Singapore's conservation shophouses, black-and-white bungalows and pre-war terraces — modern function delivered with absolute respect for URA guidelines and original fabric.

Where Heritage Meets Modern Craft

Singapore's conservation shophouses in Chinatown, Tiong Bahru, Joo Chiat and Emerald Hill carry over a century of patina — original tiles, jack roofs, air wells, timber jalousies. Our role is to add the storage, kitchens and wardrobes a 21st-century household needs, without erasing what makes the property irreplaceable.

The URA-Conscious Approach

Every conservation shophouse project begins with a fabric audit. We identify what is original (tiles, timber, ironwork), what is later addition, and what is missing. Our cabinetry is then designed to sit lightly within the original shell — predominantly free-standing, with concealed services and reversible fixings.

PRINCIPLE I

Reversibility

Every install can be removed without trace.

PRINCIPLE II

Lightness

No fixings into conserved facades or jack roofs.

PRINCIPLE III

Dialogue

New millwork echoes original proportions.
